Albert A Smith

Albert A. Smith, of Lake Orion; age 87; March 19, 2013; beloved husband of the late Stella for 57 years; loving father of Larry (Mary) of Brown City and Arthur of West Branch; dear grandfather of Jennifer, Chris, Danielle, Tina and the late Larry; great grandfather of 10; and brother of William (Karen), Kenny (Betty), Richard (Joyce), Eleanor Daughtie, the late Bernice (Lester) Larr, the late Roberta Davis, Rose Hattis, Barbara Dean and Cynthia Smith. Albert retired from General Motors after 34 years of service. He was a WWII Army Veteran, captured in the Battle of the Bulge, and held as a P.O.W. until the end of the war. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 23, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at SPARKS-GRIFFIN FUNERAL HOME, Lake Orion.
