ROBERTS, ALEXANDER "Alex", of Lake Orion November 1, 2009 age 83.Beloved husband of the late Jean. Dear Father of Mark ( Renate), Scott (Sarah Ormond), Lynne Roberts of Okemos, Paul, Donna (Daniel) Ruffing, and Julie (Greg Schassburger) Roberts. Loving Grandfather of 11 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren Mr. Roberts was retired from the Detroit Police Department, Mounted Division, and later operated Mr. Robert's Photography Studio in Lake Orion. He was a Veteran of the Army Air Corps during WW2. Funeral services Thursday 11:00 am. from the Lake Orion Chapel, Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home (248-693-8336). The Roberts family will receive friends on Tuesday from 6 to 9 pm, and Wednesday with suggested visiting hours of 3 to 5, and 7 to 9 pm. Memorials may be made to Shriner's Hospital, March of Dimes, or Clinton Valley Council Boy Scouts.
