Alma Lee Thornthwaite

Alma Thornthwaite; of Oxford; January 13, 2017; age 85. Alma is the beloved wife of the late Arthur for 62 years; loving mother of Gary (April) Thornthwaite and Terry (John) Waggett; dear grandmother of six; great grandmother of many; and great great grandmother of one. Alma worked for many years as a Registered Nurse at St. Joseph Hospital in Pontiac and General Motors. She enjoyed Casino trips and socializing with her many friends at the Independence Village of Waterstone, Oxford. Most of all, Alma was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends. Private family services have been held.
