Andrew J Burkett, . age 75; of Pontiac; died May 22, 2009 Andrew was a deacon. of Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church. Beloved husband of the late Ruthie M. Burkett dear father of Willie Joe, Andrew Jr., Vearlene, Theodore, Paul, Pearlene, Ricky, Jearlene, Mary, Milton. 29 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, May 29, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. from the Monument of Faith Baptist Church. Family hour will be 10:00 a.m. until time of service. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Pontiac Chapel of Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home. Interment Perry Mount Park Cemetery.
