Andrew Tyrone Reeves

Mr. Andrew Tyrone Reeves was born on July 15, 1956 to the late Willie and Dorothy Reeves in Detroit, MI.  Tyrone, as he was affectionately known, was one of four children and the only son born to the union.

Tyrone accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior at an early age as a member of Evangelical Mission International of Detroit, MI.  He attended Airport High School in Monroe, MI.  As a young man, Tyrone worked as an assistant in the science department at The University of Michigan.  Soon after, he secured stable employment with Ford Motor Company as a mechanic.  He enjoyed many years of service with Ford before beginning to enjoy his life as a retiree.

During his later years, Andrew shared many memorable years with the love of  his life, Yvonne Brown Johnson.  As a couple they enjoyed spending time with family and friends and playing card games.

Andrew leaves to celebrate his life and cherish his memory: four children, Andrew Finkley, Antoinette Reeves, Martel Delshawn Williams and Rosemary Williams; three step-children, Christine Parkman, Omar Johnson and Morris Johnson; six grandchildren; three sisters: LaReno (Lester) Neidig, Franzella Williams and   Deborah Hoffdahl; special cousin Gerald (Jeleana) Harrison and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends for visitation on Thursday 17th, 2020 from 1:00-2:00pm at Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home, Pontiac. Masks are required for entry, social distancing is strongly encouraged, and groups of 10 will be permitted at a time.
