Antoinette "Toni" Carson

Antoinette “Toni”  Carson (nee Smentek); of Rochester; formerly of Michigamme; age 84; passed into the hands of Jesus on May 9, 2016. Antoinette is the beloved wife of the late Robert E. Carson; loving mother of Margory (Chet) Ricker, Bob (Athena) Carson and Michele (Chris) Bentti; devoted grandma of Sierra, Shannon, Nicole and Carson; and dear sister of Esther Czarnik, the late Stanley Smentek and the late Harry Knaski.  Toni will always be remembered for her lifelong devotion to the Virgin Mary.  She loved her garden, singing in the choir at Sacred Heart and being Mrs. Claus at Christmas for the children.  Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, May 13, 2016 at 1pm at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Lake Orion.  The family will receive friends on Friday at Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home, Lake Orion from 9-11am and at church from 11:30am until the time of service.  In lieu of flowers, please consider donating generously to Sacred Heart Church, P.O.
