PHELPS-CHERYL, ARDEAN, of Lake Orion, May 5, 2011, age 50.Beloved daughter of Jean and Howard Phelps of Lake Orion. Dear sister of Greg "Hammer" (Susan) Phelps of Metamora, Joe (Lori) Phelps of Ortonville, and Michael (Sue) Phelps of Richmond. Loving Aunt of Mitchell, Melanie, Josh, Hailey, Jacob, Michael Anthony, and Alexis. Great-Aunt of Jenna and Mya. Ardean was a beloved music teacher to her students for over 30 years. She was an accomplished flutist playing in various orchestras during her career. She was in the loving Care of Dr. James O'Neil, Dr. Michael Hicks, and Dr. Chris Knoblauch, and their staff during her illness. Funeral services Saturday, 11:00 am. from the Lake Orion Chapel, Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home (248) 693-8336. Interment Perry Mt. Park Cemetery. Ardeans family will receive friends Friday 4-8 at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Foundation.
