Arthur C. Harrison

Arthur, Harrison C.; of Denver, CO, formerly of Tucson, AZ and Pontiac, MI, passed away on Wednesday evening, the 13th of February, 2013. He was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Jennie Alice (Merriman) Harrison, and by his brother, Frederick Harrison. He is survived by his daughter Linda Bertrand; grandfather of three; great-grandfather of two; brother of Donald Harrison Art was born December 22, 1916 in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. He was a veteran of WWII, serving from 1942 to 1946 in the Panama Theater. He was also a long-time employee and executive with Pontiac Motors; and an accomplished artist. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, February 23rd at 2:00 p.m. Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home Pontiac Chapel, 46 Williams Street. The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon until the time of service. Interment Perry Mount Park Cemetery. Family request donations are made to the Denver Art Museum in lieu of flowers
