DRAKE, ARVELLA Mae. August 4, 2006 Age 83 of Lake Orion. Beloved wife of the Late Wilgus Sr. Dear mother of Wenonah (Sam) Holland of Lapeer, Willena (Bob) Van Dusen of Lapeer, Wilgus (Patricia Ann) Jr. of Linden, Glenn (Linda) of Lapeer, Ben(Sissy) of Lake Isabella, Annetta (Joe) Fuggitt of Oxford, Ruth Jackson of Oxford, Henry(Melissa) of Lake Orion, Kathy (Jim) Kelley of Lake Orion, Becky (Dennis) Matthews of Lake Orion and the late Berl. Sister of Robert, Rita Faye, Delvena, Shirley, Betty, Frances and Lillian. Grandmother of 23 Great-Grandmother of 20. Mrs. Drake was a woman who thought to comfort others before herself. Arvella never complained and even though she was in so much pain, she thought she needed to stay and help all of her children. Funeral service Tuesday 1pm @ the Lake Orion Chapel of the Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home. Family will receive friends Monday after 3pm, with suggested visiting hours of 3-5 & 7-9 pm .Memorial contributions may be directed to Lake Orion Nursing Center. Interment Eastlawn Cemetery.
