Ascension S. Castro

Ascension Sandoval Castro; age 66; of Pontiac; went to be with the Lord on May 21, 2017. Survived by children DeAna Castro of Delaware, Fabian (Teresa) Castro of Waterford; dear grandchildren Julian and Nova; sisters, Juanita Sanchez, Valerie Nava, Gavina Miracle, Augustine (Russell) Cree; and brothers Michael, Benansio (Irene), Roque, Cruz (Andrea), Juan (Janet, Luis and Alfredo (Christina). he was preceded in death by his sisters Inez Hernandez and Cipriana Adkins. Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, May 24, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home with Father Jacob Van Assche officiating. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 11 a.m. until time of service. After service there will be a luncheon held at the fraternal order of Eagles, on Montcalm St. in Pontiac.
