ATHIE MARIE LEE, ; age 77; passed away suddenly on Saturday, January 31, 2009. Beloved wife of Willie Lee Sr.; and mother of Doris A. Lee, Willie Lee Jr., Michelle (Willie) Franklin, Alexander Lee, Teria Lee, Gregory Lee and (Diane S. Lee who precede her in death). She is also survived by two sisters, Anita (Stanley) Jones and Nadine Hatten; nine grandchildren; four great grandchildren and a host of many loving nieces and nephews. Marie was preceded in death by her brother Charles Wells. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, February 6, 2009 at 1 p.m. with viewing to be held at 12:30 p.m. with family and friends at Welcome Missionary Baptist Church in Pontiac. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Pontiac Chapel of Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home. Interment Perry Mount Cemetery. Reflections shared at www.sparksgriffin.com.
