Audrey Marsac

Marsac, Audrey Lee. November 22, 1934 ~ October 23, 2006Audrey's full and active life was quickly taken by cancer. She grew up in Lake Orion and graduated from LOHS in 1954. With her three children she was very active in 4-H. In 1980 she helped form the the Orion Art Center and continued as a member for over 25 years. Audrey enjoyed art and her favorite medium was watercolor. She showed her landscape watercolor paintings at local art shows and festivals. Audrey worked in Oxford @Tri-X corporation from 1966-1988. In 1989 at the age of 54 she earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Oakland University. In 1990 she joined Arbor Press in Royal Oak and managed billing until August 2006 when she was diagnosed with cancer. Audrey enjoyed to travel, the outdoors and cross country skiing. She was a loving and capable mother to her daughter; Leslie(Chuck) Walters; sons: Stephen(Donna) and John(Cindy). Grandmother to Jessica,Brandon, Mackenzie, Devon, Olivia, and Jake. She is also survived by her mother Elenor Powers, brothers; Sonny(Joan) and Russell (Bonnie), sister; Elaine Miller. Audrey will join her sister Karen Neff in Heaven. A memorial service will be held Friday, 2:30 pm October 27, 2006 @ the Lake Orion Chapel of the Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home. Family will recieve friends Friday 1pm until time of service. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Orion Art Center.
