Autumn Hope-Millette Desmarais

Autumn Hope-Millette Desmarais; of Shelby Township; age 25; passed away on November 24, 2020.  Autumn is the beloved daughter of Robert and the late Andrea Desmarais and Ann Marie and Eric Christoff; loving sister of Mitchell Kusmider, Bobby Desmarais, Alyssa Christoff, Aaron Prystash and Ryan Prystash; dear granddaughter of Dee and the late Bob Woodward and Jim and Maryanne Desmarais.  Autumn (aka SPUD) touched many lives in her short 25 years.  She always rooted for the underdog, no matter what the situation.  She lived fearlessly and freely until illness began to slow her down over the last 8 years.  Pure determination and grit fueled her constant fight until her body could no longer keep up.  Autumn loved music and played the guitar, drums and piano.  She was also a gifted artist specializing in pencil drawings and tattoo art.  Her days were often filled with drawing and watching Netflix marathons of Gilmore Girls or Grey's Anatomy.  Tattoo art and pizza are what fueled her soul!  She loved to fish and hunt with her Dad who was her constant best friend and companion; while her Mom was a source of laughter and pranks.  Her Papa, the late Bob Woodward was her hero and Mimi, Dee Woodward was her closest friend.  Her dog Ding was always by her side.  Autumn's  friends meant the world to her and she held her brothers very close to her heart.  Fly free Spuddy Buddy, fly free.  A memorial service will be held at a later date.
