Barbara Lynn Duffy

September 2, 1944 — November 3, 2009

DUFFY, BARBARA LYNN; of Lake Orion; passed November 3, 2009 after a courageous battle with cancer; age 65. Loving wife of Don for 45 years; beloved mother and mother-in-law of Carrie and Jeff Zigarac and Jennifer and Steve Remondini; loving grandmother of Abigail, Alyson and Hannah. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, James and Grace Beavis, and her half brother, Jack Beavis. Barbara worked as a law clerk for 27 years. She enjoyed spending time with her family, reading, completing crosswords and watching the beautiful water of Lake Orion pass by. Barb rested comfortably in her final hours. The family would like to thank the Oncology and Hospice staff at St. Joseph Mercy-Oakland Hospital. Funeral service 1:30 pm Saturday at the Lake Orion Chapel of the Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home.
