Eames, Barbara W. of Waterford Township, November 26, 2007; age 89; beloved wife of the late D. B. Eames; loving mother of Judy (Will) St. John of Pontiac and Bill (Anne) Eames of Fish Hoek, South Africa. Loving Grandmother of David and Erin. Great Grandmother of Sarah Jane, Sadie Lynn, and Sydney Joy. Mrs. Eames was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Pontiac, where she was the first woman to have served on the Board of Elders. She was also a member of the PEO, Wednesday Night Dance, and many other activities in the city of Pontiac with her husband D.B. Funeral services Tuesday, 11:00 am. from the St.Luke's Memorial Chapel at Canterbury on the Lakes. Interment at White Chapel Cemetery. The Eames family will receive friends Monday after 3:00 pm. at the Pontiac Chapel of Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home 248 (338-9288), with suggested visiting hours of 3 to 5, and 7 to 9 pm. Memorials may be made to the Good Samaritan Fund at Canterbury on the Lakes. Reflections can be shared at www.sparksgriffin.com.
