Barry D. Schwerin

Barry Dee Schwerin; of Lake Orion; age 68; passed away on August 23, 2022.  Barry is survived by his wife Amy of 26 years; daughters, Shanna, Shelby, and Kacie (Howard); grandkids Vincent and Luna; and brother Robert (Susan).  He is also survived by his mother-in-law Nancy Reynolds and many other family members.  Barry was preceded in death by his parents Howard and Helen Schwerin, his sister Peggy Hutchinson and his father-in- law Garry Reynolds Sr.

After graduating from Avondale High School in 1972, Barry worked at GM Truck & Bus retiring after 37 plus years, and then went to work at Don’s Lil Johns for another 10 years.  He was a longtime member of the Lake Orion United Methodist Church and a proud member of the Board of Trustees at the church.  Barry loved the Detroit Tigers, hunting, fishing, bowling and his Bocce Ball League.

A Celebration of Life will be held for Barry at a later date.  Memorial donations may be made to the Lake Orion United Methodist Church .
