Beatrice Hernandez

Beatrice “Dolly” Hernandez, age 75, of Pontiac, Michigan passed away on Saturday, December 16, 2023. Beloved sister of Manuel Hernandez (Ana), and Veronica Vasquez (Jim), and aunt to 12 nieces and nephews and many grandnieces and grandnephews. She is preceded in death by her father, Jesse Hernandez, mother, Otilia Hernandez, and by brothers; Russell Hernandez, Chris Hernandez, Simon Hernandez, and by sister, Bernadette Brumitt.
She retired from North Oakland Medical center after working in the medical records department.

Dolly was a very kind and warm person. She was the caretaker of her late mother and brother before they passed, and was selfless in her love and care for family. She was a compassionate and generous person. An easy listener, she enjoyed talking on the phone with friends and family; dining out; and also enjoyed watching TV; with some of her favorite programs being detective and crime dramas, British period dramas, true crime, and thrillers.
She was the kind of sister, aunt, and friend every person deserves to have. She will be missed dearly.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 20, 2023, from 12:00 - 2:00 p.m. at Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home, Pontiac Chapel. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 20, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home, Pontiac Chapel.
