Bernice "Jean" J. Jones

Bernice J. Jones; of Lapeer; age 91; passed away November 14, 2017.  Bernice is the wife of the late Stewart “Pete” Jones; and mother of Stewart (Nadine) Jones, Dori (Michael) Schmeideknecht, Thomas Jones, Charles Jones, Linda (Terry) Lake, Donald (Judi) Jones and Rodney Jones.  She is also survived by her grandchildren Laura Steward, Timothy Jones, Kristi Kita, Derek Kita, Eric Jones, Jeremy Jones, Drew Jones Brianne Jones, Melissa Jones, Christopher Jones, Matthew Lake, Nathan Lake, Lisabeth Wiles, Katie Jones and Andy Jones; and great grandchildren Connor, Alison, Ian, Olivia, Wyat, Taylor, Connor, Katelyn (Casteo), Kaleb, Kristin, Emma, Jack, Elise, Dominic, Kyla, Cameron, Carson, Tessa and one more on the way.  Bernice was a longtime member of Calvary Bible Baptist Church and a caregiver to many.  Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 20, 2017 at 1pm at Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home, Lake Orion.  The family will receive friends on from 10am until the time of service.  Interment Eastlawn Cemetery.  Reflections may be shared by visiting www.sparksgriffin.com .
