Bettie J. Autry

Bettie J. Autry; of Roscommon; formerly of Pontiac; died on April 6, 2017. Bettie is the beloved wife of the late Truman; dear mother of Barbara Speer of Saint Helen and the late James; loving grandmother of Megan (David) Crist of Roscommon and Jenny (Todd) Pado of South Lyon; and dear great-grandmother of Ava and Emma Crist and Jack and Andrew Pado. She is also survived by four nieces, two nephews and brother-in-law Joe Rusch. Bettie was preceded in death by her parents John and Edna Scholz; brother Arnold; sister Maebelle Rusch; and in-laws Pearl and Otto Autry. Bettie retired from Pontiac Schools after 21 years as a secretary in the Administration Building. The family will receive friends at Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home in Lake Orion on Wednesday, April 12, 2017 from 1-3pm with funeral services at 3pm. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
