Betty Jean Frizzell; age 84; born on November 1, 1927 in Lonaconing, Maryland and passed away March 17, 2012 in Clarkston, Michigan. Betty was the cherished wife of the late Gustave Nelson Frizzell.Loving mother of Jeri-Ann (Bill) Engleby of Ortonville; sister of Clifford (Margaret) Preston of Midland, Maryland; grandmother of Jeremy (Karla) Baumgras and great-grandmother of Wyatt Baumgras, Tessa Baumgras and Joshua Miracle of Auburn Hills; step-grandmother/great-grandmother of Debbie McLaughlin and family of Muskegon and Sandy (Ken) Ballard and family of Grand Blanc. Beloved number one cousin of Marsha Beeman. Cherished sister-in-law of Floyd (Joan) Frizzell of Florida; Barbara (Jim) Hunt of Virginia and Margaret Ann (Vic) Metz of Colorado. Also, Betty is survived by many wonderful nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was predeceased by her parents John & Mary Preston and her brother Joseph Paul Preston.Betty retired from UAW-Local 653 after many years of dedicated service. She will be remembered as a loving and caring angel with a great sense of humor. She cherished her family and friends and loved to reminisce about the good times that were shared over the years.Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 20, 2012 at 12 noon at SPARKS-GRIFFIN FUNERAL HOME, Lake Orion. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Interment Ottawa Park Cemetery.A heartfelt thank you to the amazing staff at Autumn Ridge of Clarkston Assisted Living for the wonderful, unsurpassed care and love you gave to your "Boop". Also, a special thank you to Dr. Zgliniec and Dr. Barnes. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Shriners Children's Hospital.
