Betty Jane Mcneil

Betty J. McNeil; of Lake Orion; age 87; December 9, 2014. Beloved wife of the late Dr. Richard McNeil; loving mother of Sharon Schaar and the late Robert McNeil; dear grandmother of Jane (Michael Greene) Hyatt, Elizabeth (Jon) Schaar Bergen and the late Laura Hyatt; and great grandmother of Paige, Alex and Jack. Mrs. McNeil was the former owner of the Lake Orion Pet Center and together Dr. and Mrs. McNeil were the former owners of the Lake Orion Veterinary Hospital. Betty was a longtime member of the Lake Orion United Methodist Church and a member of the Red Hat Society. Funeral services will be held Monday, December 15, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at SPARKS-GRIFFIN FUNERAL HOME, Lake Orion with Rev. Larry Wik officiating. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 3 to 6 p.m. Interment White Chapel Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Michigan Humane Society.
