Beulah Hayward

July 1, 1911 — February 5, 2010

Beulah Hayward, "Ma"; of Pontiac; age 98; went to rest in peace with the Good Lord on February 5, 2010; preceded in death by her husband of over 53 years, Orville A. Hayward; mother of thirteen children; grandmother of 25; great grandmother of 33; and great-great grandmother of three. Beulah is survived by her sons and daughters; Beverly (Clayton) McLaren, Al (Linda), Bud (Pat), Bill (Carol), Lar (Louise), Sherrie, and Jim. She was preceded in death by her sons and daughters; Joan (Marvin) Turcott, Shirley (Claude) Teague, Carolee, Garry, Roger (Cathy), and Don (Sandy). Special mention to Sherrie, Bud and Claude for their loving care these past few years. Mrs. Hayward enjoyed family, sports, and her work as a school crossing guard for over 20 years. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 10, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at the Pontiac Chapel of Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Monday and Tuesday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Interment Perry Mount Park Cemetery. Reflections may be shared at www.sparksgriffin.com.
