Brenda Lee Vires

Brenda Lee Vires was born on October 14, 1963, to the late James Joseph and Clara Viola Short and passed away on May 12, 2024, in Pontiac, Michigan. She leaves behind to cherish in her memory her beloved husband, Eligah Vires Jr.; loving children, Eligah (Jennifer) Vires III, Amanda (Jeff) Santiago, and Meaghan Vires; adoring grandchildren, Jacob, Maddy, Ray Ray, Mateo, Grace, Kle’Shaya, Tyler and Lucas; and her siblings Jim, Robin, and Starr. Brenda is preceded in death by both of her parents, James and Clara Short, and her brothers, David and Kenny.

A memorial mass will be held on Friday, May 17, 2024, at 4:00 p.m. at St. Damien of Molokai Parish – St. Vincent de Paul.

My mom, she was perfect! A giver of all and a taker of none. Her family was all she needed and never wanted anymore, even though she deserved it. I am who I am today because of her, and I hope she knows how much I loved her, will miss her, and didn’t deserve her.
