Brigido “Paguito” Rodriguez; of Pontiac; February 15, 2015; age 96. He is survived by his wife Eugenia Rodriguez of 62 years; children, Miriam (Jaime) Colon, Harold (Irma) Rodriguez, Rosa (Jon) Rodriguez, Orlando (Migdalia) Rodriguez and Ernesto Rodriguez; seventeen (17) grandchildren; t hirty-one (31) great grandchildren; and one (1) great-great grandchild. He was preceded in death by Maria Ignacia (Salvador) Reyes and Yolanda (Kenneth) Trail. Born November 19, 1919 in Puerto Rico to Severo Rodriguez and Ernesta Curet he arrived in Pontiac, Michigan in 1947. Brigido retired from Pontiac Motors after 35 years of service and was an ordained Deacon at St. Vincent de Paul Church in Pontiac. He was a Chaplain for local area hospitals, was very involved in the community, and for many years served as Vice President of the Puerto Rican Social Club in Pontiac. Brigido loved his family and grandchildren very much, and was loved very much by them, as well and will always be remembered for his favorite pass time, watching baseball. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 17, 2016 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home, Pontiac. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, February 18, 2016 at 11am at St. Vincent de Paul Church. Interment Christian Memorial Cemetery. Reflections may be shared by visiting www.sparksgriffin.com
