Candice Nevaux

April 2, 1928 — January 22, 2011

Candice "Candy" Nevaux; of Ann Arbor; formerly of Lake Orion; passed away January 22, 2011 at the age of 82. Candy is the beloved wife of Bill; loving mother of Michael (Rose) Nevaux of Ann Arbor, Kevin (Janet) Nevaux of Phoenix, and Leslie Nevaux of Anchorage, Alaska; dear grandmother of Michael, Christopher, and Nikki; and special aunt of Yumiko Ara of Japan. Candy arrived in the United States by an act of Congress which was signed by President Harry S. Truman. Upon arrival she was reunited with Bill, and together they would share 59 years of marriage. Candy was a member of the Church Street Singers and the Sweet Adelines. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 25, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at the Lake Orion Chapel of Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Monday from 2 to 7 p.m. and on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
