NELSON, CARL R. March 27, 2006 Age 90 of Rochester Hills formerly of Cleveland Ohio. He was born January 26, 1916 in Gulliver, MI to Carl Alexis and Ellen Ragen Nelson. Loving husband of Philenda of 65 years. Dear brother of Fred (Dode) Nelson, Signe Cameron and the late Margaret Larsen and Ralph Nelson. Dearest uncle of Tom & Penny Berger of Oxford, Mary Jane & Jerry Bates of TX and Susan & Tom Arthur of FL. Mr. Nelson retired from the Cadillac Division of General Motors Tank Plant in Cleveland, OH in 1970. Carl continued to be active as President of the Georgetown Arms Condo Association for over 25 years. He was also a Veteran of the United States Navy. Funeral service Thursday, 1pm @ the Lake Orion Chapel of the Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home. Family will receive friends after 3pm, with suggested visiting hours of 3-5 & 6-8 PM. Interment Square Lake Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions may be directed to Cranbrook Hospice.
