Carl Van Luven

Carl Van Luven; born 1935; passed away September 1, 2013; age 78; Carl is survived by his wife of 42 years Pearl; his children Eric Van Luven of Oxford, Heather (Fidel) Coleman of Waterford, Dennis (Connie) Van Luven of Oxford, Pati (Keith) Welch of Sparta, Susanne Roudabush of Oxford, and Tom Roudabush of Boston, MA. Carl is also the grandfather of 11; great grandfather of 20; and brother of Linda Klier and Walt Van Luven. Carl was preceded in death by his parents Lula Olive Morse Van Luven and Alex Van Luven. Carl was retired from GM, and enjoyed cooking, oil painting, and telling tall tales. He also loved his coffee, fishing and being out in the woods. Funeral services were held at Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home in Lake Orion at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 3, 2013. The family received friends from 9 am until services began.
