Carol Ann Landstrom

Carol Ann Landstrom; of Rochester Hills; age 77; passed away September 17, 2019. Carol is the beloved wife of Lloyd “Jim” Landstrom; loving mother of Mary Ann (Robert) LePage, Julia (Douglas) Parker-Bailey and Raymond (Jennifer) Landstrom; dear sister of James (Loretta) Whittaker; and adoring grandmother of Megan (Joseph) Uzarski, Wessly (Tiffany) Parker, Logan (Christina) LePage, Reis Bailey, Drew and Katie Landstrom.

Carol was born and raised in Sunbright, a small town in the hills of Tennessee. When she shared stories of her childhood, many were of happy and loving times spent with her grandparents, her brother Jim and her Aunt Mary Lou.

After she graduated high school in 1960 Carol came to Michigan to live. Several months later she met a handsome young man, and after only four months of dating, she and Jim were married on May 26, 1961. This year they celebrated 58 years of a beautiful marriage. Together they raised three children; Mary Ann, Julia and Raymond. They took many family vacations to Michigan's Upper Peninsula and also back to Sunbright. Carol was a wonderful wife and mother.

Carol loved time spent with family and friends; she enjoyed taking bus trips to the casino's and antiquing. But, what she loved most was time spent with her (6) grandchildren, who all called her Granny. She liked to make them special treats like boston coolers and snicker doodle cookies.

Carol will be missed by all who knew her.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 21, 2019 at 10 a.m. at Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home, Pontiac. The family will receive friends on Friday, September 20, 2019 from 5-8 p.m. at Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home, Pontiac. Interment at Van Hoosen Jones Cemetery.
