Carol Ramirez

With deepest sorrow, we say good-bye to our Mother, Nana, Friend, and Aunt. Carol Ann Ramirez was born on August 11, 1945. Daughter to Vincent Christopher Hefferon and Doris Marie Cobeil. Sister to James Vincent Hefferon.

Our mother grew up in Waterford, Michigan under the watchful eye of her big brother Jim.  Carol had fond memories of summers in Florida visiting her super fun Aunt Betty and sharing adventures with her beloved cousin Mary Jo.  Carol raised her family in Lake Orion, Michigan and later relocated to Las Vegas, Nevada. She loved the warm climate and 24-hour city. She returned to Lake Orion about 3 years ago. Her death was very sudden. Carol went peacefully holding her daughter’s hand.

We have loved hearing all of the fun stories and memories that are being shared about our mother.  Please continue to share these memoires with our family. Carol was an all-time beauty with the air of royalty.  Nana was also generous to a fault, not taking no for an answer. Especially when it came to picking up the tab or asking you to try a bite of something.  She loved her family fiercely and her grandchildren more than words can say. She also loved her puppies, sweets, fine dining, sweets, slot machines, leopard prints, sweets and reality TV.  In fact, the night before she passed, she watched Big Brother and was very disappointed that Bachelor In Paradise was not being aired due to the Florida State Game, but luckily she was also a fan.

Carol regularly known as Carol Ann, passed away at 10:47 am on September 6, 2021. We were so blessed to have this amazing woman in our lives for 76 years. We know she is at peace with her baby Jessica Nicole, her parents, and a very long list of loved ones who crossed over before her. Please help us keep her memory alive. We know she will watch over us all and help take all our worries away.
