Carole R. Royer

August 1, 1934 — March 6, 2009

Carole R Royer ;. died peacefully at her home on March 6, 2009. Carole received her Master's Degree from Oakland University and studied for the PHD at Wayne State University. She recently retired from a career of teaching writing at Oakland University and was an active member of All Saints Episcopal Church in Pontiac. She is survived by her partner, Robert L. Dawson; a sister, Joan Hurley; nephews, Todd and Mark Hurley; and many loving and caring friends. A memorial service will be held at All Saints Episcopal Church in Pontiac at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 1st. Donations, in lieu of flowers, may be made to All Saints Episcopal Church, the Heifer Project or Affirmations. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Pontiac Chapel of Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home. Reflections may be shared by visiting www.sparksgriffin.com.
