Carolyn DiMinno; age 62; of Warren Michigan; passed away of natural causes on Friday, December 11, 2020.
Carolyn was born in Detroit to Ann (Lobaza) and Vincent DiMinno on May 4, 1958. She was a graduate of Warren Woods Tower High School in 1976 and received her Bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University and completed her MBA from Walsh College.
Carolyn had recently retired from the US Government Department of Defense where she had worked as a civilian as a Procurement Specialist, supporting our nation. She was a member of St. Louise de Marillac Catholic Church in Warren. Carolyn was especially loved by the honorary nieces in her life, including among others, Katie and Liz Lobaza. Always an animal lover, Carolyn was proud “Mama” of Buster and Rufus, as well as honorary “Auntie” to Cooper, Bently, Emma, Felix, Marco and Duke. She also was a lifelong Bingo aficionado and loved playing the slots at the casinos in northern Michigan.
Carolyn is survived by her cousins and their families, namely Joanne (Gus) Gozdor, Antoinette (Jack) Visnaw, Pat (Ray, predeceased) Mandziuk, Irene (Bob) Gurnack, Betty (Richard) Maciejewski, Janet Woodard, Anthony (Sally) Lobaza, and James (Sofia) Lobaza.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to the American Diabetes Association or the Michigan Humane Society.
A memorial service will be planned for a later date
