Cecelia Vellucci

Cecelia Vellucci; of Lake Orion; age 84; passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on November 7, 2015. Cecelia was preceded in death by her beloved husband Frank Vellucci; and three siblings, Rufus Castillo, Paul Castillo and Janie Castillo. She is survived by her siblings, Bob Castillo, John Castillo, Josie Moews and Lou Villereal; five children, Frank (Mary), Peter (Jeni), Ray (Lisa), Rick, and Richard (Colette); eight grandchildren, Tia, Lauren, Kayla, Anthony, Niko, Gabby, Jason and Kaylie; and three great grandchildren. Cecelia loved to cook her favorite Mexican dishes and her love for children was evident, not only in the way she cared for her own family, but also in the way that she provided care for other children in the community throughout her life. She enjoyed family gatherings and loved to listen and dance to the Mariachi music. Cecelia's strong faith and love will always be remembered by her family and friends and she will be dearly missed. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 10, 2015 at 4pm at Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home, 111 East Flint Street in Lake Orion. The family will receive friends from 12 noon until the time of service. Interment Eastlawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations made to the Alzheimer's Association would be greatly appreciated.
