Chalmer F. Gidcumb; of Holly; February 24, 2012: age 92; beloved husband of the late Lotella; dear father of Carolyn (John) Sherrod of Illinois, Pat (J.D.) Drake of Linden, Jackie (Dennis) Davis of New Baltimore, and Cindy (Don) O'Connor of Almont; loving grandfather of eight and great grandfather of many; and brother of Ludene Looney, and Irene Cockrum. Mr. Gidcumb was a veteran of WWII, serving in the Army Air Corps. He was a former member of First Social Brethern Church, and was an electrician with Pontiac Motor. Funeral services Tuesday 11:00 am from the Lake Orion Chapel, Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home (248-693-8336). Interment Ottawa Park Cemetery. Visitation Monday at the funeral home from 3 to 5, and 7 to 9 p.m. Memorial reflections may be made to www.sparksgriffin.com.
