Carpenter, Charles February 13, 2009 age 80 of Orion Township. Beloved husband of the late Dorothy Ann . Dear father of Steve(Linda) , Wendy Brennan and Cindy Carpenter. Grandfather of Nicklaus (Malinda) Brennan, Chad Brennan and the late Tammy Bauers. Great-Grandfather of Delaney and Ayla Brennan. Brother of Byron (Phyllis), Charlotte (Jack) Brown and the late Lee, Bruce, Robert and Gerald. Mr. Carpenter retired from Oakland County as a Parts Clerk and retired from Rochester Plumbing & Heating. He was a member of the Lake Orion Masonic Lodge 46 F & AM and a member of the Lake Orion United Methodist Church. Charles lived his whole life on the centennial family farm. Funeral Service Tuesday 11 am at the Lake Orion United Methodist Church. Family will receive friends Monday after 3pm, with suggested visiting hours of 3-5 & 7-9 pm at the Lake Orion Chapel of the Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home. Masonic service Monday 7 pm. Interment Eastlawn Cemetery .
