Cheryl Elizabeth Jewell

Cheryl Elizabeth Jewell (nee: Moffett) was born January 14, 1953 to David Harold Moffett and Vivian A. Moffett (nee: Garrow). She passed away on January 12, 2019 after a 20 year battle with cancer. Cheryl married William “Pete” Jewell on October 28, 1978 and was the mother of Heather (Donald) Buckner, Kelly Jewell and Kyle Jewell. She was also the grandmother of four wonderful grandchildren, Olivia, Amber, Abbigail and Lillian; and sister of Judith (Larry) McCombs, Steven (Denise) Moffett, Michael (Brenda) Moffett, and the late David (Patricia) Moffett. Cheryl worked as a breakfast manager at McDonald's for over 20 years. Her hobbies included reading, spending time outdoors and listening to music. She loved animals of all kinds but was especially fond of cats. Most of all, Cheryl enjoyed being with family and will be deeply missed. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, January 26, 2019 at 11a.m. at Woodside Bible Church, Lapeer with Pastor Gary Gillim officiating. Interment at Mentor Township Cemetery, Mio, Michigan.
