Clara "Lucy" Sears

Clara Lucille Sears; of Carolina Beach, North Carolina; passed away November 15, 2018 at age 71. Clara, whom was affectionately known as “Lucy”, was born in the small town of Donalds, South Carolina in 1947 to Clara Belle and the late Jake Bruce. Lucy is the beloved mother of Vicky (Rick) Ouzts, Eric (Tara) Sears, and the late Larry Dwayne Sears; and grandmother of Chrysta Latham and Shane, Kendrick and Brenden Sears. She is also the loving daughter of Clara Belle; and dear sister of Gail, Wilma, Paul, Raymond, Sarah, James and Pamela. Lucy was adored by her family and her many friends, especially at the American Legion, where she was very involved. She loved to cook and enjoyed making meals and treats to share with her friends and family. She was very caring and kindhearted by nature and loved her dogs, family and friends very much. She will be deeply missed. Memorial Services will be held in North Carolina.
