Connie Theresa Barnard

Connie Theresa Barnard; of Lake Orion; age 63; passed away on Tuesday, April 16, 2019 surrounded by her loving family. Connie is survived by her husband Mike of 27 years; children, Melanie (Aaron) Owens, Jenny (Randy) McCloud and Matt Barnard; grandchildren, Carter, Max and Juliana; and siblings, Tom Knecht, Colleen (Bill) Kempf and Tim (Krissy) Knecht. She was preceded in death by her parents Hillery and Noel Knecht. For many years Connie worked in Real Estate. When she wasn’t busy with that, Connie loved living on the lake and all that went with “Lake Life”. She enjoyed spending time with her grandkids and family, and traveling with her husband Mike. Playing golf was also a huge part of Connie’s life, as were her dogs, dancing, music, crocheting, art and décor and her love of food. Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 19, 2019 at 11am at the Lake Orion United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 4 to 8pm at Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home, Lake Orion. Memorials in Connie’s memory may be made to the Lake Orion United Methodist Church.
