Dale Miechiels

Miechiels, Dale F.; of Oakland; passed away April 12, 2014; at 73 years of age. Loving husband of Patricia for 47 years. Dear father of Todd (Kim) Miechiels of Georgia and Wendy (Major) Shannon of Lake Orion. Beloved brother of Marilyn "Kay" Ganoff of St. Clair Shores and Sharon (Lee) Westenhofer of CA. Grandfather of Aaron, Owen, Ian, Quinn and Tye. Dale retired from the Lapeer County Public Schools where he was an elementary school teacher for 28 years. He enjoyed classic cars, golf, music and hamburgers. A memorial service will be held Friday, April 18, 2014 11:00 am at the Lake Orion United Methodist Church, 140 E. Flint Street, Lake Orion. The family will receive friends from 10:00 am until the time of service. Memorial donations may be made to the Interlochen Music Fund and Paws With A Cause.
