Mc GEEN, DANIEL S. D.D.S. February 16, 2007, Age 88 of Auburn Hills. Beloved husband of the late Jean. Dear father of Daniel T. (Catherine) of Oxford, Susan (John) Schindler of Texas, Donald (Susan) of NY, David (Carol) of Pontiac and Mary (Steve) Hutchens of WI. Grandfather of 9 and Great-Grandfather of 6. Brother of John and Martin Cavey and the late Olive Compton. Dr. McGeen practiced Dentistry in Pontiac for 45 years. He was a member of the Civitan, Kiwanis, Pontiac-Waterford Elks 810, founding member and Past-President of the Macomb & Pontiac Audubon was also involved with the Boy Scout Troop Committee; the Campfire Girls Committee; Boy Scout Merit Badge Counselor; member of St. Mary's in the Hills Episcopal Church; Superintendent of Sunday School; Lay Eucharistic Minister; founding member of St. Mary's In the Hills and current member of the Building Fund Committee. Mr. McGeen was a United States Army Veteran serving during World War II and was a Dentist in the Coast Guard during the Korean Conflict. Funeral service Wednesday 1:30 pm at St. Mary's in the Hills Episcopal Church ( 2512 Joslyn Ct.) Family will receive friends Tuesday, after 3pm with suggested visiting hours of 3-5 and 7-9 pm at the Lake Orion Chapel of the Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home. The Reverend Christine Humphries officiating. Interment Square Lake Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be directed to St. Mary's in the Hills Building Fund.
