Danny Poulin

September 7, 1951 — February 8, 2009

Poulin, Danny; of Lapeer; formerly of Lake Orion; passed away February 8, 2009 at the age of 57; beloved husband of Carole; loving father of Wendy (Nathan Greene) of East Lansing; step-father of Michael (Michelle) Simpson of Sterling Heights, Jaclene Simpson of Rochester, MN, Christopher Barnowsky of Oxford and Brian Barnowsky of CA; loving grandfather of three; and dear brother of Doug (Kathy) Poulin of Naples, FL, Debbie (Dave) Robertson of Lapeer and David Poulin of Lake Orion. Danny is also survived by many nieces, nephews and close friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Robert and Frances Poulin, sister Jill Kolb and brother Duff Poulin. Danny was retired from the Teamsters Local 299. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 12, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at the Lake Orion Chapel of Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Interment Square Lake Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to McLaren Hospice.
