Darien Louis Bragg

Darien Louis Bragg; born on April 6, 2001; passed away on Tuesday, June 11, 2024, at the age of 23. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Maria Flores Peña, and Yolanda (Matt) Winter. Darien leaves to cherish in his memory his precious son, Christian Louis Bragg and his partner, Ariel Morris. He is survived by his parents, Brandon and Tanya Bragg; siblings, Brandon Bragg (Alexis), Adrianna Peña (Aaron), Tatianna Bragg, Alexandria Bragg (Jermaine), and Yolanda Bragg; with a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Darien loved his family and friends, they were everything to him. Loyalty, kindness, and being a protector for his loved ones came naturally. Darien was blessed to create his own family and they meant the world to him; he cherished his precious son Christian more than anything, they were inseparable. He loved getting together with the boys playing in basketball tournaments, he was great at hooping, and made precious doing so any chance he could, even if it was in a pool on family vacation.

If you knew Darien, you would be drawn to him and couldn’t help but love him back. He had a spirit of peace and was such a light to all who were blessed to be loved by him. Darien’s love and light will continue to shine through all who will miss him forever.

The family will receive friends for visitation on Thursday, June 20, 2024 from 3:00 - 7:00 p.m. at Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home, Pontiac Chapel. A private family service will be held.
