David Jackson

David Jackson; of Canton; age 69; passed away on February 18, 2023.  David is the loving father of Anthony and Nathan Jackson; loving grandfather of Audrianna Mariya and Brianna Jackson; and great grandfather of two.  He is the dear brother of Kenneth (Wanda) Jackson of Pontiac, Michigan and Eva Mae (Donnie) Partin of Winfield, Tennessee.  He was preceded in death by his parents Homer and Hazel Jackson, his children Patricia and Chad Jackson and his siblings Helen Taylor, Herman Jackson, Larry Jackson, Leroy Jackson and Geraldine Meadors.  David was a devoted father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother and uncle.  His family was the most important thing to him, and he loved to travel to Kentucky to visit them.  David worked hard all of his life even working different jobs after his retirement.  He was an avid sports fan who especially enjoyed watching college basketball.  He liked playing basketball and going fishing in his younger days.  A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, March 3, 2023, at 1pm at Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home, Lake Orion. The family will receive friends for a visitation from 11am until the time of service.  Interment will take place at Resurrection Cemetery, Clinton Township, Michigan.
