Rocha, David Y.; of Pontiac; passed away peacefully on Friday, December 16, 2022; age 82; preceded in death by his wife Mary Rocha; father of Mary Hall, Delia Corke, David (Simone) Rocha Jr. and Mario Rocha; also survived by 15 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren; brother of the late Mary (Victor) Rosario, late Lorenzo (Patricia) Rocha, Robert (Mary) Rocha, late Margaret (Noel) Nieves, Guadalupe (Daniel) Ortiz, Erlinda Velez, Joe Velez and Rubin Velez; also survived by many nieces and nephews. David worked for General Motors for 40 years before retiring in 2006. He enjoyed listening to country and oldies music. Family hour, Monday December 26th at Sparks Griffiin Funeral Home, Pontiac from 3:00 p.m.- 4:00 p.m., friends may visit from 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. with a rosary at 6:00 p.m. Funeral Mass Tuesday, December 27th at 10:00 a.m. at St. Damien of Molokai Parish-St. Vincent de Paul, 46408 Woodward Ave., Pontiac, MI. Interment Christian Memorial Gardens West, 521 E. Hamlin Rd. Rochester, Michigan.
