Debra Jo Grout

Debra Jo (Kline) Grout; age 61; of Pontiac; passed away on October 15, 2021 after a battle with Covid.

Debra was born on April 25 ^th , 1961 to Jeannette and James Prosser in the Detroit area.

Debra was predeceased by her father, mother, brother and sister. She is survived by her husband Kevin Grout; her children, Jan Velasco, Kevin Grout, Michael Grout, Laura Grout and Debbie Grout; many grandchildren and several other brothers and sisters.

Debra was a loving grandmother, with a humorous personality and humble spirit. She had to endure many hardships in life yet continued to persevere and lead by example. She was a great friend to many and a teacher to some. Debra will be missed greatly and remembered always with love. May she rest in peace.

The family will receive friends on Friday, October 22, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon at Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home, Pontiac Chapel. A funeral service we be held on Friday, October 22, 2021 at 12:00 noon at Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home, Pontiac Chapel.
