Delmer E. Schons

Delmer E. Schons; of Clarkston; age 79; April 12, 2015. Beloved husband of Denise for 57 years; loving father of Bill (Sally) Schons of Redwood City, California and the late Mark (Jennifer) Schons; and dear grandfather of the late Tynan and Camden Schons. Del was also preceded in death by his brothers Ron (Fay) and Jim (Maureen); and his in laws Charles and Betty Hubble. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews and granddog Stella. Del retired from Consumers Power after many years of service. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 16, 2015 at 11am at Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home, Lake Orion. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 4 to 8 pm. Interment Oxford Township Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Independence Township Senior Center/Meals on Wheels Program.
