Denise Ann Sanderson

Denise Ann Sanderson; of Canadian Lakes, Michigan; formerly of Oxford; age 66; passed away suddenly on July 28, 2018.  Denise is survived by her beloved husband of 45 years, Dave; her loving daughters, Amy (Mike) Carpenter and Megan (Randy) Weiland; and dear brother Mike (Maryanne) Thorndycraft.  Denise retired from the Oxford Schools after 20 years.  She spent many of those years as an Educator at Daniel Axford Elementary School.  As part of the Canadian Lakes community Denise was involved with Needles & News and Aquacize.  She was also a member of the Red Hat Society (Little Red Hen’s).  Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 1, 2018 at 11am at Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home, Lake Orion.  The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 2 to 8pm.  Interment Eastlawn Cemetery.  Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
