Diana Lynne Mora; age 55; of Grand Blanc, Michigan; passed away January 4, 2020. Diana is survived by her parents Omar and Sofia Mora; brother, David (Shelli) Mora and sister's, Dalila (John) Mora-Jimenez, Alexis Mora and Jasmine Mora; nieces, Amber (Cameron) Coop, Andrea (Greg) Gochnour, Michelle (Tom) Schmitt and Kirsty Jimenez; nephews, Daniel (Alex) Mora and Cordero Jimenez; and she is survived by many cousins, but especially close to Steven and Denise Trevino. She was also preceded in death by her brother Daniel Mora and niece Candice Mora. Diana was born on 12-2-1964 at Pontiac General Hospital. She went to school in the Pontiac School district, and graduated from Pontiac Central high school in 1983 with honors in the Marching band playing her flute. Diana also played piano, and for a time played for her church choir. She loved Country Music, enjoyed golfing, bowling and fishing. She especially enjoyed the outdoors and the times she would spend up at her Aunt and Uncle's (Jim and Tracy Snaden's) place on Torch Lake each summer with family and friends. Diana loved thrifting (Garage sales), she also was quite the handy woman around the house, and was very tech savvy. She loved nostalgia and watching old black and white movies. Her favorite restaurant was Cracker barrel, where she always stopped to have a meal on her way to and from Northern Michigan. Even though she never had children of her own, she was like a second mother to her nephews, nieces and two adopted sisters. Diana attended the First Spanish American Baptist Church in Pontiac, MI. She accepted her Lord Jesus Christ as her personal Savior. Her great faith helped carry her through her long battle with Cancer. Diana will be greatly missed for how she touched so many lives with her sweet spirit. Rest in peace, and God be with you till we meet again. We love you . The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 11, 2020 from 10 am until the time of service at the First Spanish American Baptist Church. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, January 11, 2020 at 11 a.m. at the First Spanish American Baptist Church, 1533 Giddings Road, Pontiac, MI 48340.
