Diane Catherine Ring April 7, 1952 - May 29, 2009. Went to be with the Lord after a tough battle with cancer. She is survived by her husband Joe Ring of Lake Orion, daughter Robin (Larry) Little of Decker, son Buddy Smith of Leonard, and son Joshua Ring of Lake Orion. She was preceded in death by her beloved son Joseph Ring II, and her parents Floyd and Catherine Vailliencourt of Oxford. Diane is also survived by her four grandchildren, Kyle, Andre, Jonathan and Rachel; five sisters Fran (Ed) Hughes of Pontiac, Phyllis (Bill) Stone of Brown City, Sue Humble of Metamora, Jeanette (Ron) McNutt of Lapeer and Sherry (Pat) Dooley of Harbor Beach; her mother in law Mae Ring of Cornell; and many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 3, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at the Lake Orion Chapel of Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home with Pastor Ric Beattie officiating. The family will receive friends on Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. and on Tuesday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Interment Christian Memorial Cemetery.
