Donald L. Fenton

Donald L. Fenton; of Lake Orion; age 89; passed away March 28, 2017. Donald is the beloved husband of the late Barbara; loving father of Frank (Belinda) Fenton, Donny (Josefina) Fenton and Teri Ann (Scott) Krantz; loving grandfather of Brendan Fenton (fiancé Shannon), Nathan Fenton, Sarah (Chris) Bielinski, Heidi Warrington, Donald Nicholas (Juliana) Fenton, Emily (Jeff) Hess, David A. Fenton, Stephanie (Marshall) Ruiz, Ethan P. Fenton, Nora Nunez, Cristian Otero, Katie Hege and Lindsey Krantz; and great grandfather of Jamie, Olivia, Stella, June, Josie, Aaron, Cain Jr., and Marcella.  He is also survived by his brother Jesse Fenton and Bethany Richards.  Don was born in Zanesville, Ohio and moved to Pontiac with family when he was 14.  He moved to Lake Orion in 1964, raised his family, shared 53 years of marriage with Barbara and lived the rest of his life.  During that time he worked for GM-Pontiac Motors Division in Advanced Engineering as a Senior Electrical Specialist for 38 years.  Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 31, 2017 at 11am at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Lake Orion.  The family will receive friends on Thursday from 3-7 at Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home, Lake Orion .  Interment Eastlawn Cemetery.  Reflections may be shared by visiting www.sparksgriffin.com .
