Donald E. Holland

Donald E. Holland; of Imlay City; formally of Waterford; age 87; passed away on May 1, 2017 surrounded by his family. Don was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 57 years, Dorlas Holland. He is the beloved father of Janet (Greg) Hickey, Rebecca (Richard) Bezemek, Sherri (Randy) Fessler, Margaret Meyer, Penny (Robert) Hall and Donald (Jeanette) Holland; and best grandpa ever to many grandchildren; great grandchildren; and great great grandchildren. He was a retired Barber, Hospital Security Officer (Pontiac General Hospital) and Firearms Instructor. Don and his wife, Dorlas, were members of the Gold Wing Road Riders Association Chapter E and took several cross county trips on his motorcycle. He also enjoyed camping, bowling and traveling. A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, May 21, 2017 at 1pm at Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home, Lake Orion. The family will receive friends for visitation from 11am until the time of service.
